Jose de Sousa: The winner in Focus
Jose came tenth overall in the 3DA rankings, he had at times between 5 and 10 points better on the averages than his opponent. His highest average of the day came in the Quarter Finals where he averaged 105.52 to eliminate Dimitri van den Bergh.
On average Jose outplayed all his opponent with the exception of Rob Cross

Michael van Gerwen: Return to the final
Mighty Mike was back in the final albeit in a losing effort, he was the 5th best ranked player on averages for the day. He outplayed all his opponent with the exception of Chris Dobey who averaged less than one point above him. And Jose de Sousa who averaged 5.54 points above him.
While he may not have won today saw good signs that Michael will be back to winning ways soon – even maybe this week – he posted 4 100+ averages more than any other competitor in the competition. Today is a good stride back into form for the World Number 3.
